On our trip to Switzerland, we were planning on hiking on some mountain trails. We had some backpacks but they were older and we knew we needed an upgrade. Our current backpacks were also larger ones and we were also going to be limited with the space we had in our rental vehicle. We also thought it would be nice to have a water sleeve compatible backpack so we would not have to worry about carrying water bottles with us to save on space. I found the Osprey Daylite Backpack which worked really well for us.

Best Features
- It was a smaller backpack but was a good fit for my wife and me still; our daughter could easily carry it as well
- Can fit a 2 liter water reservoir (sold separately) which came in handy in the summer while hiking and touring
- Has front pocket separate from the larger interior to help keep items organized
- Water bottle pockets on the sides of bag
- Comes in a variety of colors/prints

The Big Picture
We were able to easily stay hydrated on our vacation with this water reservoir compatible backpack. It was multi-functional and came in handy while hiking the Swiss Alps as well as sightseeing in city centers. It’s a smaller backpack but we were still able to keep the contents well-organized inside.
If you’re looking for a compact backpack that also can hold a water sleeve, I definitely recommend that you consider purchasing this one by clicking the link below.
You can also find the separate water reservoir, which is compatible with this backpack, below as well.
